At the beginning of December 2020, the Federal Government announced that it would be extending its successful HomeBuilder Grant scheme.
The HomeBuilder grant was originally announced on 4th June 2020 to help the residential construction market recover from the anticipated impact of Covid-19. You can read more about the original grant scheme here.
Contracts for new builds signed between 1st January and 31st March 2021 may now be eligible for a $15,000 HomeBuilder grant.
The application deadline has also been extended for both the original $25,000 grant and the new $15,000 grant. Applications can now be submitted up until 14th April 2021. This applies to all eligible contracts signed on or after 4th June 2020.
The construction commencement timeframe has also been extended from three months to six months for all HomeBuilder grant applicants. This is applicable to all eligible contracts signed on or after 4 June 2020.
The fantastic news is that URB4N Apartments is one of the few apartment buildings in Adelaide to qualify for the HomeBuilder grant. If you are eligible for the maximum amount of the HomeBuilder grant and First Home Owner grant, you will save up to $30,000 on your new URB4N apartment.
